Best Autism Friendly Beaches Resorts

All-inclusive resorts can be the perfect option for vacations since they include practically everything in the price. Everyone can enjoy the amenities, the food, and the entertainment. In the past, you have probably heard me share my reasons why autistic families should consider an all-inclusive resort. When you saw my reasoning, you might have thought all-inclusive resorts would be perfect for your autistic family. Yet, it would be best if you still determined which one is best for you. Well, I recommend staying at a Beaches Resort if it is your first time at an all-inclusive. After all, Beaches Resorts were the first to become Advanced Certified Autism Centers. So they will understand your needs throughout your stay. Today, I am sharing the best Beaches Resorts for autistic families with you. One of these resorts is going to be exactly what your family needs while away from home.

Best Autism-Friendly Beaches Resorts

Beaches Turks and Caicos

Beaches Turks and Caicos is one of the best all-inclusive resorts for autistic families. Five villages, a massive waterpark, a twelve-mile-long beach, and numerous swimming pools and restaurants will keep the entire family happy during your vacation.

When planning your visit to Beaches Turks and Caicos, you must decide where you want your accommodations. You can choose from Caribbean and Seaside Villages, Italian Villages, Key West Villages, and French Villages. Each village offers unique architecture and an ambiance to match.

Dining out is simple when you vacation at Beaches Resorts. This resort offers twenty-one gourmet restaurants. Don’t panic when you hear the word gourmet, though. Plenty of dishes are on the menu; even the pickiest eaters will devour them. Plus, since this is an all-inclusive resort, you can always order another meal.

If your autistic child loves the water, they will be thrilled to spend time in one of the ten swimming pools or at the Pirates Island Waterpark. The waterpark has massive water slides, cannons, whirlpools, and a lazy river. Your family may even want to use the SurfStream Surf Simulator to learn how to surf.

The kids' programs will be available when you need a little downtime. Drop the kids off and enjoy a worry-free morning, afternoon, or evening. The staff will ensure your kids are having fun while getting the support they need.

All Beaches Resorts now offer a sensory guide for autistic families to use throughout their stay. These guides were designed to assist guests with specific sensory sensitivities while navigating the resort. A map includes every area of the resort and rates it on a scale of one to ten for sensory stimulation.

A vacation in Jamaica will be unforgettable when you stay at Beaches Ocho Rios. This Beaches Resort is more petite than Beaches Turks and Caicos, but you won’t miss any fun! Plus, it may be a better option if you want fewer experiences while on vacation.

Water-loving autistic families will enjoy spending time at any of the five swimming pools or the waterpark. Add in the sandy beach with the expansive ocean for swimming and other water sports, and you know your days will be filled with water adventures.

During your downtime, you can relax in your spacious room. Each room has all the amenities you will need while away from home. It is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and nap.

If you don’t want to spend all your time in the water, you can participate in many other activities at Beaches Ocho Rios. The entire family can play a round of golf on the championship golf course. There is even an all-inclusive golf program for kids at this Beaches Resort.

There are only seven restaurants to choose from when it is time to eat. This will ensure no one has a meltdown while picking a restaurant at mealtime.

The kids can spend as much time as they want at the kids club at Beaches Ocho Rios. You won’t mind, because you will get a little “me time” while they are having fun. Don’t forget to meet some of the Sesame Street characters during your stay. Your autistic child will love spending time with Julia, Sesame Street’s first autistic character.

Beaches Ocho Rios also has a sensory guide your family can use to plan your days and nights at the resort. It will be a helpful guide for those days when your autistic child may be struggling a little more and when they are having a perfect day.

Beaches Negril

Another incredible autism-friendly resort in Jamaica is Beaches Negril. This autism-friendly Beaches Resort can be found right on 7-Mile Beach. This resort's fun activities can be found alongside this spectacular beach.

So, spend your time in the ocean, on the sand, in a swimming pool, or at the waterpark. You can even dine with views of the water.

You may want to choose one of the rooms or suites that are slightly away from all the action. It won’t take much longer to reach the beach or anything else. But being away from it all will allow your autistic child to enjoy their time in the room a little bit more.

While you are in your spacious room, you can rest or take a nap. Step out onto the balcony or patio to enjoy the views and the ocean air.

There are nine gourmet restaurants at Beaches Negril. Again, don’t worry; the menu will have plenty of options for anyone who prefers to eat the same foods every day. For a sweet treat, stop at Yoyo’s for frozen yogurt.

The Sesame Street characters, kids programs, XBOX Play Lounge, and Club Liquid are all waiting for the kids and teens in your family. All the Beaches Resorts offer these fun activities and places to spend time in. You can enjoy your alone time knowing your kids are cared for by qualified staff members. They have been trained thoroughly to handle any situation during your stay. And don’t be surprised when they connect with your autistic child easily. The staff members love spending time with these kids, watching them flourish during their visit.

Ensure you have a copy of the sensory guide for Beaches Negril when you arrive. This will ensure you can check the sensory levels of an activity before attending, especially if your autistic child is having an “off” day and needs a little extra quiet for a while.
